About the Children’s Heart Association of Cincinnati
The efforts of the Children’s Heart Association of Cincinnati are aimed primarily on supporting clinical, translational and basic investigations intended to advance pediatric cardiovascular medicine. The SCRATCHgolf camp mission is to help congenital heart defect kids and children identified as at risk for future heart disease socially, mentally and physically through golf. We hope to meet new friends, take a mental break from medical issues and maybe even learn some important life lessons through golf.
About The First Tee
The First Tee is nationally recognized non-profit youth development program that uses golf as a platform to help teach kids important character-building life skills, core values and healthy habits which they can use throughout their lives on and off the golf course.
Consideration for admittance to camp is based upon review from our medical staff.
Participants must be present for the length of the 3-day SCRATCHgolf camp and for at least 6 of the 8 The First Tee PLAYer classes to receive incentives for this program.
Transportation to and from camp will not be provided.
