Before Your Appointment
Before the first appointment, our staff works with families and referring physicians to obtain relevant medical information such as laboratory results, radiology reports, pathology specimens (tissue biopsies), photographs of the affected area and copies of prior imaging. This allows us to plan the first appointment and schedule you or your child with the necessary specialists as well as order any needed testing.
We advise you to contact your insurance company to verify your benefits and referral requirements. In order to provide an accurate diagnosis and the best care for you or your child, a second opinion / review of prior imaging or tissue samples may be necessary and have an associated service fee. Contact your medical coverage provider directly to inquire about charges for second opinions. Contact us as soon as possible with any questions or concerns regarding review of prior imaging or pathology.
