I’m an outpatient pediatric cardiologist caring for children and young adults with congenital heart disease. I was drawn to pediatrics, and especially pediatric cardiology, early in my medical training. It’s incredibly rewarding and a true privilege to journey alongside patients and families, being part of their story through both the good and challenging times. Every day, I’m inspired by the resilience of children, and I enjoy helping them stay healthy and active, doing what they love.
My care philosophy is simple: I treat all patients as if they were family. I believe in building strong relationships and making sure families feel supported and heard throughout their child’s care. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from Wright State University, and at the Boonshoft School of Medicine, I was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received the Excellence in Pediatrics award. My clinical and research interests focus on improving the patient and family experience, especially through quality improvement in the outpatient setting, and enhancing patient access and education.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband cheering on Cincinnati sports teams—especially the Bengals and Reds! You’ll often find me running, baking or chasing after our sweet (and big) Bernese Mountain dog.
