About

Biography

I'm a social worker providing general services for established patients receiving care from the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Additionally, I prioritize providing urgent intervention and support with other psychosocial stressors for patients and their families. My role also encompasses supporting transitional-aged youth as they prepare to transfer their care to adult providers. If a patient's needs are outside my scope of practice, I am happy to connect them to someone who can help.

My interest in social work stems from growing up in a rural area with limited resources and support. Many who influenced me to set and reach goals had a social work background. From a young age, I knew I wanted to provide similar care when I searched for a career.

I aim to make each patient feel seen and supported, whatever their situation may be. Whether they need a small amount of time or weeks and months to achieve their goals, I will support them.

As a social worker, I maintain a self-care routine in many parts of my life. When I have free time at home, I practice self-care by reading, hiking, relaxing while binge-watching my favorite shows, or trying a completely new activity as a potential hobby.
