Jonathan Cerar, PT, DPT

I am a physical therapist specializing in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation at Cincinnati Children’s. My passion for helping others began with my great-grandmother, who taught me the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle. That early inspiration, combined with my love for sports and working with athletes, led me to pursue a career focused on helping children and young people recover from injury and return to the activities they love.

I believe the best care starts by understanding what motivates each patient. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where patients feel engaged, confident, and empowered throughout their care. Every treatment plan is personalized to meet each patient’s unique goals and needs, helping them achieve meaningful, lasting results. I strive to make sure families feel heard and involved every step of the way, because collaboration is key to successful rehabilitation.

Outside of work, I enjoy weightlifting, running and cheering on all the Cleveland sports teams.
