Stephanie Ebken is senior vice president, chief marketing & communications officer, and chief of staff for the office of the president and CEO at Cincinnati Children’s, a nonprofit, comprehensive pediatric health system. As a leader in research, education, patient care, advocacy and innovation, Cincinnati Children’s is ranked #1 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2023-2024 list of best children’s hospitals in the nation and is the #2 recipient of pediatric research grants from the National Institutes of Health.

Since 2019, Ebken has overseen Cincinnati Children’s marketing and communications operations, which includes brand and marketing strategy, media relations, social media, creative services, digital strategy, internal communications and more. She also serves as chief of staff to the president and CEO, a responsibility she has held for nearly a decade. In this capacity, she provides communication, coordination and strategic counsel for C-suite leaders, as well as the board of trustees.

Ebken joined Cincinnati Children’s in 2004 as a market analyst in business development. She advanced multiple times and took on new opportunities within business development, strategic planning and organizational leadership. Throughout her career, Ebken has made significant contributions to the development, enhancement and implementation of countless institutional programs, initiatives and strategies. Her deep knowledge on a wide range of topics and issues helps ensure that opportunities for alignment and connection are recognized and maximized across all levels of the organization.

Before joining Cincinnati Children’s, Ebken worked in assurance and business advisory services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a graduate of Miami University and is a non-practicing Ohio Certified Public Accountant.
