About

Biography

I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy with experience working with various general orthopedic conditions. I have a particular interest in treating overuse shoulders and feet and ankle injuries. My favorite sports to work with are soccer, swimming, and track and field. I take a holistic approach when working with patients, providing care to ensure that I incorporate all factors of recovery. It is important to me that I prioritize my patients' goals to provide individualized care and ensure treatment is tailored to their unique needs.

I knew I wanted to be a physical therapist (PT) when I was in fifth grade. I had to see a PT for a knee injury from soccer. Working with my therapist toward recovery showed me the immense impact therapy could have. Since then, I knew I wanted to be a PT and help others reach their goals and get back to the activities they love.

The energy and creativity of kids made me want to have a career in pediatrics. Their motivation and resilience inspire me to help them achieve their full potential. I have experience teaching swim and dive lessons and coaching youth soccer teams. Seeing the development of new skills, social bonds and self-esteem through athletic activities is exactly why I work to get them back to their goals.

When I am not at work, I enjoy staying active by hiking, walking and doing yoga. On a rainy day, you will find me cozied up reading a book or watching a movie.
