About

Biography

As a specialist in adolescent and young adult medicine, I focus on caring for patients with eating disorders and obesity, as well as providing general adolescent consultative care and primary care. My background in nutrition is central to my approach—I bring this expertise into every patient interaction, ensuring that care is both evidence-based and tailored to each individual. In addition to my fellowship training in adolescent medicine, I am board-certified in obesity medicine, which allows me to offer a comprehensive perspective on the unique challenges facing my patients.

I believe in patient-centered care that involves both patients and their families in every step of the treatment process. My goal is to create individualized plans that are rooted in science and shaped by the needs and values of each family. I am committed to advocacy and collaboration, working closely with colleagues across Cincinnati Children’s and the community to ensure comprehensive, multidisciplinary care. As a researcher, I focus on improving screening and early intervention for eating disorders in adolescents and young adults with obesity, striving to enhance access to care and treatment outcomes for this vulnerable group.

In my spare time, I love being outdoors, whether I’m painting, gardening, hiking or exploring Cincinnati’s parks with my husband and our son. We enjoy cooking together, and trying new recipes and cuisines.
