About

Biography

I’m a resident in the Combined Child Neurology and Pediatrics Program. Within child neurology, I am interested in neurodevelopmental disorders and neurogenetics.

My passion for connecting with people from different backgrounds and my desire to work with individuals with disabilities brought me to medicine, and ultimately, to child neurology. I’m fascinated by the brain and its ability to adapt, especially during childhood. Child neurology allows me to provide early intervention and treatment, which can alter a child's trajectory and enable them to achieve their highest potential. My approach is to treat all patients and their families with respect and equality.

Coming from the east coast, I had never been to the Midwest until I came to Cincinnati Children's for my residency interview. Cincinnati is a beautiful city with so much to offer! It’s comprised of 52 uniquely different neighborhoods, which give it a big city with a small-town feel.

In my free time, I enjoy going on long walks with my husband, playing volleyball with co-residents at the riverfront, going to Findlay market on the weekends and exploring new neighborhoods with friends. There’s always something to do in Cincinnati!
