As a practitioner in neonatology, family-centered care is a vital aspect of my philosophy. My goal is to collaborate with medical staff, as well as patient families, to change the outcome for every single patient. I’m honored to serve my patients, their families and our community in this capacity.
It's a true calling to provide medical care to some of the tiniest, most fragile patients. I’m inspired by our amazing staff at Cincinnati Children’s every day. I want my patients and their families to know that neonatology is my life’s work. I believe in the Cincinnati Children’s philosophy of changing the outcome for every baby. To be an advanced practice provider in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Cincinnati Children’s is an honor.
In 2015, I became a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Omicron-Omicron Chapter, and Kappa Gamma Pi, The National Catholic Colleges Honor Society. I was also honored to become a Brother Ignatius Perkins Honoree and receive the award for Outstanding Achievement in the Practice of Nursing in 2015.
My amazing family includes two beautiful daughters that I love very much. We enjoy being active outdoors, cooking yummy food and spending time together as a family.
