About

Biography

As a pediatric audiologist, I enjoy working with children of all abilities. My older sister was diagnosed with autism as a child, and I saw firsthand the numerous appointments, specialties and care coordination required for her to reach her maximum potential. My goal is to assist families as they navigate the healthcare system to ensure their child has access to exceptional care and services.

I’m passionate about helping children who struggle with language / developmental concerns, specifically those affected by hearing loss. I specialize in assessing hearing through Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) evaluations and treating hearing loss with traditional hearing aids.

You’ll often find a doctoral student providing care with me during your child’s visit, as I’m also passionate about mentoring the next generation of pediatric audiologists. I serve as the Student Education Coordinator for the Division of Audiology and was nominated for, and received, the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Preceptor Award (2022).

When I’m not working, I’m cheering for Nebraska (Go Big Red!) or finding ways to volunteer and serve my community. My husband and I are licensed foster care parents, and I’ve had the privilege of providing hearing healthcare to children in Jamaica and Haiti. I’m also a lifelong supporter of Special Olympics Ohio and volunteer as their Healthy Hearing Clinical Director.
