About

Biography

As a nurse practitioner, I work to provide timely, safe and quality care to my neonatal patients. I believe that to provide excellent care in any area of pediatrics, you must include family input and work with the entire family unit. I see the family as an integral part of the health and well-being of each individual patient.

The mix of advanced medical knowledge and the nursing theories of helping and healing, inspired me to become a nurse practitioner. My job provides the greatest combination of science and care. I’ve always been drawn to the tiniest of patients. I love the extra challenge of caring for babies. You must understand their subtle cues because babies cannot tell you what is wrong.

When I’m not at work I spend time with my three dogs. I also love to hike and do yardwork.

MSN: Wright State University, Dayton, OH, 2012.
