Katie Mueller, MSN, APRN, CNP

As a certified nurse practitioner, I care for both inpatients and outpatients who have complex urogenital conditions, as well as spina bifida patients who have bowel management problems.

I’ve wanted to work in healthcare, specifically in pediatrics, for as long as I can remember. I’ve been with Cincinnati Children’s for my entire career, and I enjoy working with our complex urology patients. I especially appreciate seeing them recovering from surgery and thriving year after year.

I have also cared for chronically ill children, worked in postoperative nursing and cared for outpatients at the Liberty Campus. I strive to make a difference with each and every patient, and to approach them with grace, empathy and gratitude. I want to care for each patient as if they were my own child, and I try to look at each unique situation individually to provide the best possible care.

When I’m not helping patients, I have four children who keep me busy. My two oldest are active in sports, and my youngest are twins.
