About

Biography

My clinical specialty is pathology, specifically surgical pathology. I examine and dissect specimens removed during surgery so that the pathologist can make a diagnosis from my samples. Pathology is a relatively unknown field that occurs behind the scenes but is critical for patient care.

I was drawn to the field of pathology while completing my undergraduate degree. I took a histology class where we learned about pathology and walked through the surgical pathology lab. I enjoy how hands-on this field is and knowing that I'm positively impacting patient care. I enjoy working at Cincinnati Children's and seeing interesting and challenging cases daily.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy hiking and Pilates. I grew up in Cincinnati and am proud to work at an institution I've admired since childhood.
