About

Biography

As a nurse practitioner, I specialize in pulmonary care. I typically care for children and adolescents who need tracheostomy tubes and ventilators. These kids are an inspiration to me, as they go through such hardships and have such a difficult road to travel. Then, to see them grow and develop and eventually go home is truly inspiring.

Our service is all-encompassing. The lungs interact with every system of the body, so we address all the patient's needs. We also work very closely with other services to gain expertise in their area, so we can provide comprehensive care to our patients.

I practice patient- and family-centered care. Our patients have many complexities and layers to their care, so working with families and helping them meet their goals leads to great success within the entire family.

During my spare time, I love to be with my family and friends. My husband and I have a 2-year-old son and a little girl due to be here in November, so we stay very busy!
