My specialty is neonatology, and I am passionate about providing personalized and empathetic care to each family that comes through our intensive care unit. My clinical focus is on caring for infants with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and the use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in critically ill infants. I’m a member of the Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia team, and I am passionate about improving outcomes for infants born with this life-threatening anomaly—starting with prenatal evaluation and continuing through birth, hospitalization and discharge.
My research aims to improve the prenatal evaluation of infants with pulmonary hypoplasia by combining existing ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and novel diffusion-weighted MRI techniques.
