Benefits and Compensation

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital has a long history of providing outstanding medical care to children who live in the region, as well as children residing throughout the United States and the from around the world. Upon graduating, the fellow will be capable of providing the highest level of evidence-based clinical care with expanded research and leadership abilities. The pediatric hand fellowship offers unique learning opportunities including:

  • Clinic participation and observations - Our specialty clinics include Brachial Plexus, Cerebral Palsy Upper Extremity Orthopedic, Upper Extremity Orthopedic and Plastics, Rheumatology, and Epidermolysis Bullosa.
  • Opportunities for volunteer/community outreach through our OTPT-led Be Well groups
  • Participation in occupational therapy research led by staff PhD
  • Opportunities for collaboration and networking with occupational and physical therapy fellows training in other specialty areas

Compensation

The Pediatric Hand Fellow will be a salaried employee of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and therefore receive full employee benefits including health, disability, and liability insurance. The fellow will receive 75% of a full-time therapist starting salary, including paid time off accruals.
