PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency Program Structure

The Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center PGY2 Residency Program is structured to provide 1 month (4-5 weeks) of orientation at the beginning of the residency. Three of the six required clinical rotations are usually completed in the first half of the residency unless scheduling restrictions occur. The remaining required clinical rotations and the electives are completed in the second half of the residency unless scheduling restrictions occur. A dedicated project month is scheduled approximately halfway through the residency as part of the longitudinal research learning experience. Ambulatory care, committee experiences, and teaching and education are longitudinal experiences. Residents are required to staff every third weekend throughout the residency.
