Cincinnati Children’s has been a part of my life since before I can remember.
I was born with sickle cell disease, and my amazing care team has been by my side to navigate this life-threatening blood disorder ever since—helping me defy the odds and live my best life.
When I experienced a speech delay, a team of dedicated specialists and therapists worked with me until I found my voice. And today, I’m using that voice to express myself and encourage other kids who are struggling with stress, anxiety and low confidence.
Everyone at Cincinnati Children’s really tries to understand what kids like me are going through every day, making sure we’re getting the compassionate support and care that we need—both in the hospital and beyond.
Without my care team, I wouldn’t be where I am today: an honor roll student, volleyball player, and published author and motivational speaker on mental health and wellness.
Thanks, Cincinnati Children’s, for being there for me when I needed you!
