Letter from the President

Cincinnati Children's is helping children in Cincinnati and around the world live healthier lives.

Cincinnati Children's is helping children in Cincinnati and around the world live healthier lives. From integrating health clinics into local schools, to innovative research that will change the outcome for kids everywhere, we are investing in a healthier tomorrow.

Letter from the President

Michael Fisher, President and Chief Executive Officer. FRIENDS,

Thanks to you, we did it again! U.S. News & World Report recently released its annual list of best children’s hospitals, and Cincinnati Children’s was named #3 in the nation. It may be a small number, but the impact of our partnership is huge – for children in our community and around the world!

In this issue, you’ll learn more about how Cincinnati Children’s innovative spirit is helping children achieve their optimal health and reach their full potential. From partnering with Cincinnati Public Schools to establish novel methods of delivering care to at-risk kids, to next generation advances in imaging that allow surgeons to practice and perfect complex surgeries before the patient even enters the operating room.

All of those advances begin with pioneering research – that’s why Cincinnati Children’s continues to invest in advancing discovery. And our new Clinical Sciences Pavilion, which opened in June, will only amplify these efforts.

The 425,000 square foot, state-of-the-art research facility makes Cincinnati Children’s one of the largest pediatric research institutions in the country. Designed to foster greater collaboration between our expert researchers and clinicians, the new building will speed discovery, increase access to cutting-edge clinical trials and bring innovative therapies to children faster.

All of this is possible because of your partnership. Thank you. I hope that we can continue to count on your support and advocacy. We are changing the outcome together.

Take good care,

Michael Fisher, President and Chief Executive Officer.
