Participants Needed for ADHD Study

Doctors at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center are working on developing a new line of therapies for children with ADHD termed cognitive training. Cognitive training involves repeated activation and stimulation of a cognitive area in order to train a cognitive domain. This is done using computerized training software that guides children through a series of activities that progressively get more difficult in an attempt to “train the brain.”

Children who have been diagnosed with ADHD or with symptoms of ADHD are needed to participate in a study that will help doctors develop the cognitive training software. Children participating in the trial will play a series of computerized games over the course of approximately two months.

In order to participate in the study:

• Children must be between the ages of 7 and 12.
• Children must not have a visual or hearing impairment.
• Children must have a computer with internet access in the home.

Parents and children are compensated for participation.
