The Weaver Lab studies genetic etiologies and pathophysiology of human syndromes associated with cardiovascular and craniofacial anomalies. This includes identification of novel gene-disease associations, and characterization of rare and novel syndromes in animal and in vitro models. The work done in the lab is heavily informed by observations from K. Nicole Weaver, MD’s clinical genetics practice.
