Primary Care for Teens and Young Adults

Primary Care for Adolescents, Teens and Young Adults

Growing up brings a lot of changes. Our Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine provides primary care for teenagers and young adults as they move from childhood to adulthood.

Our adolescent medicine doctors and care team specialize in caring for teens and young adults ages 12 through 22. We help young people build healthy habits, understand their bodies and minds, and learn to take charge of their health as they become more independent.

This is a place for honest conversations, age-appropriate care and support for the physical, emotional and social changes that come with adolescence.

Why Families Choose Adolescent Medicine for Primary Care

Teenagers are not just older children—and they are not adults yet. Our team understands the unique health needs of adolescents and young adults. That’s because adolescent medicine specialists have advanced training in the medical, emotional and social needs that come with this stage of life.

We work with teens and their families to build trust, encourage healthy choices and create a safe space to talk about questions or concerns.

Who We Treat

We welcome new patients ages 12 through 21. Patients can continue receiving care through age 22.

Families can schedule an appointment directly with us for primary care. No referrals are required.

Visits are billed and covered the same as any office visit. We accept most insurance plans, including Medicaid and HealthVine plans.
