Cardiorespiratory Wellness
Conditions We Treat

Conditions Treated by the Cardiorespiratory Wellness Program

Children, teens and adults who survive cancer often face new health challenges after treatment ends. Some treatments can affect the heart, lungs, strength, and overall fitness. The Cardiorespiratory Wellness Program helps survivors rebuild safe exercise habits while improving endurance and physical function. Our team evaluates each patient’s health and fitness level, then designs an exercise plan that supports recovery and long‑term wellness.

Our program supports survivors who experience:

  • Reduced endurance or exercise tolerance after cancer treatment
  • Heart or lung effects related to cancer therapy
  • Muscle weakness or physical deconditioning
  • Difficulty returning to sports or physical activity
  • Fatigue or low energy during daily activities
  • Long‑term health risks related to childhood cancer survivorship

Our team works closely with each patient to understand their goals and create a safe path back to regular physical activity.
