Genetics Consultations and Counseling for Patients and Families
An appointment with a geneticist and genetic counselor is an important part of whole exome sequencing (WES). It is highly recommended that patients meet with a geneticist and genetic counselor before and after having WES.
Cincinnati Children’s has a Genomic Evaluation Clinic available to patients having WES. A referral from a doctor is required to schedule an appointment in the clinic.
