Dedicated to Providing High-Quality Care for Your Child

The Inpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Program at Cincinnati Children’s improves functional independence and participation, and transforms delivery of care through fully integrated, globally-recognized research, education and innovation. We are committed to providing the best outcomes, experience and value to patients and families in our community and around the world.

In addition to our accreditation by the Joint Commission, our program has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for our inpatient rehabilitation and pediatric specialty care programs since 1997. In October of 2018, we were the first in the world to receive CARF accreditation for pediatric cancer rehabilitation, and the second in the world to receive CARF accreditation for pediatric pain rehabilitation.

These achievements reflect our dedication and commitment to meeting national rehabilitation standards and to providing the highest quality care for your child.

What to Expect

Our team of experts customize treatment plans based on your child’s ongoing assessments, predicted outcomes and medical and rehabilitation goals.

Working together, our goal is to minimize the impact of your child’s disability and maximize participation in daily activities. As we work with your family, we will develop a plan of care that fits your child’s age, medical status, psychological capabilities and cultural needs.

2023 Inpatient Rehabilitation Outcomes
