Eddy Aguilar, MD

My clinical specialty is pediatric neurology, with a particular interest in epilepsy. Every patient experience continues to teach me about the art of medicine and how to be a better physician. I look forward to this journey of becoming a well-rounded child neurologist.

My passion for pediatric neurology began with an interest in neurology. I soon realized that I enjoyed working with children. My path became apparent, leading me into a practice field where playing with my patients tells me so much about how they are doing neurologically. I instantly fell in love. I was also pleasantly surprised by the diversity of the patient population and the program itself. I hope to continue promoting it in the years to come.

As a future child neurologist and a first-generation Ecuadorian, I look forward to serving a diverse patient population. With my interest in childhood epilepsies, I hope to help underserved communities that face the implications of many social determinants of health. My goal is to practice in these areas while advocating and promoting health literacy in these vulnerable populations.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring the diverse restaurant scene in Cincinnati with friends and colleagues! It’s such a perk to have Kentucky next door, and just a short car ride away from exploring all Covington and Newport have to offer!
