I am a clinical manager at Cincinnati Children's Division of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. I also provide clinical care as an occupational therapist in the Heart Institute’s Neurodevelopmental and Education Clinic.
With a focus on patient care and administration, I strive to consistently improve the operations of our team so we can provide the best care in a timely manner. As a team, we work to continuously improve access to services and ensure that patients, families and clinicians receive the best care possible. It is a privilege to work behind the scenes and contribute to each family's journey through occupational and physical therapy.
I take pride in identifying the priorities of each patient, their family and their caregivers and working with them to meet those needs. It's a privilege to partner with families to care for their children.
Occupational therapy wasn't a well-known profession at the start of my career, but after some observation and research into the profession, I knew it was the right path for me. Occupational therapy's focus on helping people participate in every aspect of life speaks to my fundamental belief in the dignity and sanctity of every individual.
In my free time, I love to garden, craft and complete small do-it-yourself (DIY) projects. I'm an active member at my church, and I also enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews and visiting the Cincinnati Nature Center.
