I am a pediatric cardiologist with special training and interests in cardiomyopathy, heart failure and heart transplantation.
I care for patients from infancy through young adulthood with advanced heart failure, including those with complex congenital heart disease, and help families navigate therapies ranging from medical management to mechanical circulatory support and, when needed, heart transplant.
I strive to treat each child and family as partners in care, recognizing that what can feel routine to a medical team is often overwhelming and unfamiliar for them. My goal is to provide clear information, thoughtful guidance and steady support through each stage of the heart failure and transplant journey.
My clinical and research interests include advanced mechanical circulatory support, refining rejection surveillance and management, and developing strategies to promote long-term graft health and quality of life after transplant.
