Jasleen Goel, MD

As a pediatrician, I work with children and well newborns. I emphasize prevention and support young parents in honing their skills, intuition and intervention while being vigilant. I feel rewarded by the love of patients and their families.

The idea of practicing "wellness by prevention" is a large part of this specialty. I like to stay abreast of newer thinking on wellness and the interaction between the mind and body.

I became a pediatrician because of my love for children, the joy of interacting with them and their "live in the moment" attitude.

My passion for prevention goes beyond our traditional understanding. We need to pay attention to child’s mental health as much as their physical health. This approach considers not only a child's genes but also what they are exposed to and everything that goes into and on their bodies. Children’s minds develop early in life and echoes into the rest of their lives. Taking care of our planet is another way to care for our children.

In my free time, I love to cook, grow vegetables and read about my interests, especially sustainability. My passion for music has no regional boundaries. I enjoy opera and the music of my youth.
