I work as a nurse practitioner in pediatric surgery. I’m proud to work for Cincinnati Children's — it’s an incredible organization, and I am blessed to have them as an employer.

I was inspired to go into nursing by my two aunts, who are both nurses. I also love working with children because they make each day fun and enjoyable.

In nursing school, I received the Cura Personalis award, which is awarded to an individual that focuses on the whole patient, not just a disease or condition. In my practice, I believe that everyone deserves the highest level of care. I also think that no one should feel rushed with their care.

When I’m not helping patients, I like spending time with my husband, our son and our two dogs. We enjoy going to the Cincinnati Zoo and on nature walks. I also love to cook, and I consider myself a "foodie."
