Empathy is an essential tool while working with children and their parents. I want them to know they are not alone in the journey and I am here to help.

About

Biography

From a young age I knew that I wanted to work with children. Children are so vulnerable, and it is our job to help and nurture them. As a pediatrician, there is great gratification in treating children and seeing them get better and thrive.

As a general pediatric hospitalist, I care for newborns to adolescents who are in the hospital. I treat any medical concerns these patients have and coordinate with other specialists, if needed. I also care for patients in the hospital after they have had surgery. In this role, I care specifically for patients with complex medical histories, coordinating their care and addressing their nonsurgical needs. I strongly believe empathy is an essential tool while working with children and their parents. I want them to know they are not alone in the journey and I am here to help.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with family, especially my daughter. I meditate every day. I enjoy yoga, running and reading. I speak several different languages, and I love traveling the world.
