My mother, a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nurse, introduced me to the power of kindness in medicine and the resiliency of children. Pediatrics is the most rewarding field in medicine.
My clinical specialty is pediatric critical care medicine. I care for critically ill pediatric patients using a patient- and family-centered team approach. Our team’s success ensures the best outcomes for our patients and families. I believe in the value of each team member, including patients and families.
I am also a health services researcher focused on eliminating healthcare disparities while optimizing care delivery and resource allocation.
I am honored to have received support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to continue my research endeavors. Additionally, I was recognized with the Billy Wright Adams award from the National Medical Association (NMA), its highest award recognizing clinical and research achievements of pediatric trainees (2021).
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the Cincinnati parks with my pup. I also enjoy scuba diving while on vacation and am certified by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).
