About

Biography

I’m a pediatrician specializing in newborn care. I believe early childhood is the most impactful time of a child’s life. I enjoy taking care of newborns and guiding parents in these early days. Keeping infants healthy is my most important goal.

I was inspired to go into the medical field by my mother, who is a pediatric physical therapist and worked in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and by my father who is a gastroenterologist. I always knew that I wanted to be a pediatrician because I like working with children and feel pediatrics is the most impactful field of medicine.

My 25 years of pediatrics experience includes attending deliveries, working in a Level ll nursery and being in private practice. I am employed by Cincinnati Children’s, but I work most of the time at Good Samaritan Hospital in the newborn nursery.

During my free time, I enjoy traveling, Pilates and reading, and watching performances, such as ballet, plays and musicals. I am married with three teenage children.

MD: University of Alabama, Birmingham, AL, 1993.

Residency: Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, OH.
