About

Biography

I am a resident in the triple board residency program at Cincinnati Children’s. This program includes pediatrics, psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry. I love learning my patients' stories and the unique aspects of their lives that impact their overall health and well-being. My goal is to partner with the patient and their family as we determine the best course of treatment.

As a physician, my aspiration is to provide equitable and accessible healthcare. Throughout my training, I recognized that many patients did not have access to mental health care — especially my pediatric patients. My dream is to redesign healthcare delivery to better provide mental health through primary care.

I am also interested in how healthcare providers can improve the health of our patients through access to healthy foods. Prior to working at Cincinnati Children’s, I was a founding member of Root Causes Fresh Produce Program, a clinic-based food pantry in North Carolina that continues to serve patients today.

In my free time, I enjoy Latin social dancing, reading and painting. When I’m able to travel, I love to go places where I can enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

MD: Duke University School of Medicine, Durham, NC.
