Meet Our Pediatric Intensive Care Specialists
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is home to healthcare professionals with a wide variety of backgrounds and areas of focus. As a team, this diversity makes us better prepared to care for your child’s unique needs. Led by our attending physicians, our multidisciplinary teams include Critical Care fellows, residents, advanced practice nurses, PICU nurses, respiratory therapists, clinical pharmacists, dieticians and patient care assistants. Additional team members may include a social worker, care manager, Child Life specialist and / or a chaplain.
If your child is followed by specialists from another area, such as Oncology or Pediatric Surgery, members of those teams will remain involved in your child’s care.
