Cincinnati Children’s adds education benefit to support career mobility for employees

Wednesday, July 26, 2023

Cincinnati Children’s is offering a new benefit to help support the education and career goals of the health system’s employees.

Through the Guild’s Career Opportunity Platform, eligible employees can access a curated mix of programs that are funded upfront by Cincinnati Children’s. This commitment enables employees to unlock opportunities for personal and professional growth through education and learning programs paid for by Cincinnati Children’s, helping to prevent burdensome student debt.

Cincinnati Children’s employees are eligible to participate from their first day of hire.

Some of the programs offered through the Denver-based Guild’s Learning Marketplace include:

  • Bachelor’s, associate’s and graduate degree programs
  • High school completion
  • Professional certificates
  • Professional bootcamps
  • College prep programs

Guild’s platform also features one-on-one coaching and career development to help Cincinnati Children’s employees take the next step in their career journey.

For programs not currently available in the Guild catalog, Cincinnati Children’s traditional tuition reimbursement program is still available.

“The people who work at Cincinnati Children’s are passionate about providing world-class care to kids and families, which is what each of our 18,500 employees help us do regardless of their job title,” said Amanda Lord, vice president for the health system’s Total Rewards program. “Working here is more than just a job, and having the right benefits and programs in place to help employees grow and develop is one step toward having a long, fulfilling and rewarding career.”
