Lydia Clark was diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy after a cardiac arrest episode when she was 16. Lydia now sees Cincinnati Children's specialists in the Cardiomyopathy and Advanced Heart Failure Clinic at the Heart Institute. While she waits on the transplant list for a new heart, Lydia is leading her life just as she would have before her diagnosis, attending college and studying nursing. For this, she was awarded the "Heart Failure is for Life" Award by the Healthcare Accreditation Colloquium.
