The Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMS-C) Education program is part of the Emergency Department at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. EMS-C provides training and continuing education programs to pediatric emergency care providers, including local EMS providers and agencies. Our mission is to provide exceptional educational training programs to all who provide emergency care to children. A federal grant program supports state and local action.
The Division of Emergency Medicine, EMSC Education at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is dedicated to offering educational opportunities for the prehospital care provider. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) continuing education lectures are offered the third Wednesday of every month from 7-9 pm. Classes are held in the EMSC Education Center, located on the second floor of the Medical Education and Resource Center (MERC) and the second floor conference room at the Liberty Campus. Lectures are now available to be viewed on videotape / DVD. All sessions are recorded and can be viewed for continuing education credits. Contact the EMSC Education office for further details.
