CPS update

The Cincinnati Pediatric Society will be hosting a variety of educational and social events. Earn CMEs and network with colleagues. Or just plan to relax and have fun with friends. Here’s the schedule:

  • Thursday, April 19 – Quarterly CME dinner – “Ankyloglossia and Other Tethered Oral Issues,” presented by Anna Meyer, MD, at Maggiano’s in Kenwood (1.0 hour CME) Free for members; $25 for non-members.
  • Friday, April 20 – CPS Spring Intensive – “Adverse Childhood Experiences and Toxic Stress,” at the Red Cross Building (4.0 hours CME) in Norwood. $30 for members; $70 for non-members; includes breakfast.
  • Sunday, May 20 – Spring Awards Dinner – Cincinnati Art Museum. Ernie Ciambarella will be recognized as the outstanding community physician.
  • Thursday, May 31 – Graduating resident send-off happy hour at Mad Tree Brewery in Oakley, starting at 6:30 pm
  • Saturday, June 30 – CPS outing to an FC Cincinnati game at Nippert Stadium. They will face off against the Ottawa Fury. CPS members and their families will receive discounted tickets and food vouchers. More details to come on how to purchase tickets.

Don’t forget to send in your dues. If you are a resident or fellow, you can join for $25/year.
