- Mark Paterno, PT, PhD, MBA, SCS, ATC, received the Ron Peyton Award from the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting. This award acknowledges and honors a member of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy who make a distinguished contribution to the specialty of sports physical therapy.
- Dr. Paterno received the 2018 STOP Sports Injuries Award at the AOSSM annual meeting for his work “Current Return to Sport Criteria after ACL Reconstruction Fail to Identify Increased Risk of Second ACL Injury in Young Athletes".
Athletic Training Outreach Program
The athletic training outreach program provided care for 618 basketball games and 129 football games in 2018-2019.
