Driven to Cure Childhood Diseases
Cincinnati Children's Research Foundation serves as one of the nation's most significant sources of pediatric scientific discovery and innovation. We work along the full continuum of research—from basic to translational to clinical—with an unrelenting focus on curing childhood diseases.
As a leader in pediatric research funding with world-class facilities, our environment for discovery is unmatched. From Albert Sabin’s oral polio vaccine to the identification of lung surfactant proteins, we’ve been contributing to life-changing and life-saving discoveries for more than 80 years.
Committed to Collaboration and Career Growth
With one of the largest pediatric research facilities in the country, we provide more than 1.4 million square feet of research laboratory space to our investigators. Specifically designed to promote collaboration across disciplines, our research facilities connect more than 900 scientists and clinicians, enabling faster translation of innovations from the lab bench to the patient’s bedside.
Our unique level of commitment to career growth and scientific inquiry helps foster exciting research-based education and training programs for all levels of academic attainment.
We continue to grow and to invest in faculty success through internally funded grants, mentorship and research cores. These investments and their corresponding achievements reflect the institution’s dedication to a collaborative, multidisciplinary culture.
