Philips Ingenia™ 1.5T MRI scanner
The 1.5T system has a wide 70 cm bore and is outfitted with Philips’ RF coil technology that embeds receiver modules inside the bore of the magnet. It is identical to six other Philips Ingenia TM 1.5T scanners in the Clinical Radiology Department. The 1.5T MR scanner suite is located between the Philips 3T Achieva TM and the large animal cath lab. The scanner shares its control room with the 3T system, and the screen room has a door providing direct access to the large animal cath lab. Scanner accessories include an MR elastography system and in-room displays and foot pedals for MR-guided interventions. Like the large animal cath lab, the MR scan room is BSL-2 compliant.
