Overview

We are dedicated to improving care and health outcomes for adolescents and young adults. Our research looks at techniques to avert sexually transmitted infections such as HIV, as well as how to enhance care of transgender and gender non-conforming youth. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), the NIH-funded Adolescent Medicine Trials Network for HIV/AIDS Interventions, and competitive internal grants help fund our research.

Supporting Transgender Youth

Our current research seeks to understand how physicians can best support transgender and gender non-conforming youth. This research is supported by Cincinnati Children’s GAP Funding Award. Reilly Larcey, BA, is the clinical research coordinator.
