Post-Doctoral Research Fellow
I received my PhD in psychology from Texas A&M University, specializing in behavioral and cellular neuroscience. I joined the Danzer lab in 2011 to research the anatomical and physiological abnormalities in the hippocampal network associated with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. My current research focus is on determining the role of structurally abnormal granule cells in a hyperexcitable dentate network. When I’m not in the lab, you can find me running, at the yoga studio, or at the theater enjoying an opera, ballet, or musical performance.
