The primary aim of our lab is to improve adherence among adolescents and young adults with cancer. Specifically, we are using economic methods to advance our understanding of the patient-centered predictors and economic outcomes of non-adherence. Our current projects are examining:

  1. Understanding how to help adolescents and young adults take their medication as prescribed
  2. The patient preferences that motivate adherence-related decision making
  3. The relationship between psychosocial variables (i.e., non-adherence) and healthcare costs
