MEG Study of Cerebral Palsy

This project has three aims:

  • Differentiate between the brain oscillation properties, based on magnetoencephalography (MEG), regulating the development of sensorimotor substrates in children with diplegic cerebral palsy
  • Differentiate between the brain oscillation properties and neural connectivity patterns regulating the development of sensorimotor processing substrates in children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy
  • Analyze the relationship among neuroimaging data and functional outcome measures to identify neural markers of abnormal oscillation patterns that improve evaluation strategies based on the CP subtypes of pediatric hemiplegia and diplegia
