Patient Services Research

Patient Services Research

Patient Services Research (PSR) is the research arm of the Department of Patient Services at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. PSR includes research faculty and scientists from several clinical divisions of the Patient Services Department including: Audiology, Communication Sciences Research Center, Nutrition Therapy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy, Pharmacy and Speech Language Pathology.

As scientists with backgrounds in a number of allied health specialties, we are closely connected with our clinical colleagues. Through these connections we can most effectively translate discovery into clinical practice at the point-of-care. We aim to be a leader in research designed to improve quality of care and clinical outcomes.

Our leadership in patient services research is reliant upon the continued investment in key individuals who will pursue research on a full-time basis, core resources and partnerships, and the education and mentorship of the next generation of patient services researchers.
