Pharmacy Research
Pharmacy Research is a highly collaborative and translational research program in pharmaceutical sciences that interacts with members of Patient Services Research, Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacology, the Genetic Pharmacology Service and scientists and researchers in other areas within Cincinnati Children’s, the James Winkle College of Pharmacy, the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center, the broader Cincinnati community, and other centers across the nation.
Our goal is to establish a nationally recognized translational research program focused on clinical pharmacogenetics/genomics. The program provides scientific and professional leadership support for pharmaceutical studies within the department of Patient Services Research. We also provide research support for the further development and implementation of the reporting of pharmacogenetic test results into the Electronic Health Record as part of the existing Genetic Pharmacology Service.
