As a clinical research coordinator II in the Communication Sciences Research Center, I am the primary coordinator for two studies awarded to Dr. Lisa Hunter including a NIH-funded ototoxicity in cystic fibrosis study and a DNA and hearing function in cystic fibrosis study funded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I am also working on a NIH-funded mobile technologies study awarded to Dr. David Moore that is using smartphone-driven processes to increase hearing care access in underserved communities.
Through this work, I have been able to apply nearly 5 years of clinical research experience and 3.5 years of working with patients and families in an outpatient clinical setting.
In my free time, I enjoy singing in a local choir, attending soccer games, reading novels, and going on walks with my dogs.
